Last week, TOS hosted an event for the corporate network, Sociëteit Rotterdam Maritiem. A local club for companies that are in any way active as a maritime company (also known as ‘wet’ companies) in the Rotterdam Port Area. TOS has been a member of this network since the major renovation of the Waalhaven Oostzijde in 2013-2014. Rolf Kievits, Sales Manager Ship Delivery, has been TOS contact person within this network so far and Giuseppina Donnina, Business Manager Work2Learn & Logistics, has now been recommended because we think TOS Work2Learn & TOS Logistics, in particular, can benefit from this network.

Captain Frans delivers ASD tug to Sydney
´TOS calls. They offer me two ship delivery trips, so I can choose. Excellent. The first trip is from Peru via the Panama Canal to Bristol, United Kingdom. The second delivery begins in Dubai and has as its final destination Sydney, Australia. Even though I’ve never sailed the Panama Canal before, I choose for the trip Down Under.’ Captain Frans, Ship Delivery Captain at TOS shares his experiences.

SEA2SHORE: NEW OPPORTUNITIES
‘I sailed for about four years. What I remember most are the long ocean voyages, the adventure, the view of the sea, the whales and dolphins and the time spent with the crew. The time together on board was very special, but so were the meetings on shore.’
