Last Sunday morning at 08:45 the Rotterdam Running Ambassadors gathered at the TOS office for a training run. The run was organised and hosted by TOS as part of the preparations for the Budapest Marathon (11th October), in which several members of the RRA will participate.
TOS Harbour Run 2014
The training run of 30 kilometres was routed through the port areas of Rotterdam. This scenic route started from the TOS office in the Waalhaven Area and passed by Pernis, Benelux tunnel, Schiedam, Delfshaven, returning via the Willemsbridge, Rijnhaven and Maashaven to end at the TOS office. During both runs drinking posts were arranged by volunteers from TOS, the KRVE (Koninklijke Roeiers Vereeniging Eendracht) and OPDR (Oldenburg-Portugiesische Dampfschiffs-Rhederei).
Our sportive colleague Ronald van der Kolk (Division Manager Ship Management) participated in the run.
