Yesterday, Bram de Feijter, Manager Newbuilding at Boskalis and Marleen Stuurman, Executive Manager Operations at TOS signed a ship delivery contract for the SST Rambala. Saam Smit Towage (SST) is a joint venture between SAAM S.A. and Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. providing towage services in Mexico, Canada, Panama and Brazil. The newbuild DAMEN 2913 ASD tug named SST Rambala will be added to the company’s Panama fleet. The opening of the new locks are likely to bring bigger vessels to the Panama terminals and the compact, manoeuvrable and powerful SST Rambala is perfect for the job.
