“Working in the offshore industry means dealing with innovative projects, enormous vessels and huge technical challenges. My role offers challenges on an interpersonal level. Being able to find the right people at the right time for State of the Art projects is what makes me tick”, says Josien, who joined TOS in 2010 as a consultant for the offshore division. She currently works as senior consultant serving TOS’ larger accounts.
TOS provided 25 crew members for the float over of the Sylwin Alpha converter platform
Connecting the DanTysk, Sandbank and Butendiek wind farms to the onshore power grid, the installation of the Sylwin Alpha converter platform was a key project. This summer the installation took place. Dockwise was responsible for the float over of the converter platform. TOS was asked to provide part of the construction crew responsible for the rigging, welding and cutting activities. With a focus on flexibility and just in time sourcing, strict timelines and the highest standards regarding safety, this project was carried out in a short time window.
