We are currently looking for a CTV Captain for our client’s fleet. They operate a fleet of Crew Tender Vessels (CTV) both Dutch and English flagged vessels. Their primary operational areas are Northern and Western Europe, including France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany and Denmark.
IS THE JOB OF CAPTAIN CTV MADE FOR YOU?
We’re looking for a captain who’s available to work on board of a CTV (Crew Transfer Vessel). These vessels often feature Waterjet propulsion, so if you have experience with that, it’s a plus. But what’s even more important is your expertise in navigating busy maritime zones and handling strong currents (often on the North Sea) . CTV ships are generally smaller and lighter than what you might be used to, so the sailing experience might also be a bit different. But don’t worry, you’ll have several days for a handover period to become familiar with the ship. Naturally, you should be skilled in maneuvering and prioritize safety at all times.
You will be working in a 4:4 on and off schedule and there is lots or room for flexibility.
Having a Dutch or UK Certificate of Competency (CoC) would be advantageous; however, if you do not possess one, we will assist in the application process on your behalf.
IS THIS YOUR PROFILE?
- Valid STCW documents
- Minimum COC Master <500 GT
- Experience on smaller vessels

- Various payroll constructions to suit your preferences
- Fixed rotation schedule of 4:4 (room for flexibility as you wish!)
