Our client’s office is based in Dubai. They are a service provider in the oil & gas industry, mostly in the Middle East. The projects are diverse, but related to shipping, marine and offshore operations. For a new project we’re looking for a Search and Rescue Manager.
IS THIS JOB MADE FOR YOU?
We are looking for a Search and Rescue Manager. You will set up the Iraqi Coast Guard Center. The plans are made, and now it’s time for execution. A lot has to happen; pointing the location, building the office/base, buying vessels, arranging a helicopter, realizing a communication system and last but not least finding the 40-60 crew members to make the center operational.
During the set-up phase, you will be based in Dubai and travel regularly to Iraq. The set-up phase is planned to last 2-3 years.
In this challenging role you will report directly to the Commercial Manager.
IS THIS YOUR PROFILE?
- Experience in setting up a company
- Knowledge of coast guard operations is preferred
- Willingness to live and work in Dubai for several years
- No issue with travelling to Iraq
- Positive mindset and solution-oriented
