Temporary staff
TOS supplies personnel on an ad-hoc or project basis by means of an extremely flexible dispatching arrangement.
Secondment
TOS supplies personnel for longer periods by means of a secondment arrangement. It is possible to take over the staff yourself after a pre-arranged period.
Recruitment & Selection
If you only require TOS to handle the recruitment & selection of your staff, you can make use of our R&S services. You then pay a fee (normally this is a percentage of the gross annual salary) and engage the employee directly.
Payrolling
Under the heading ‘payrolling’, TOS can make personnel available to you in the form of temporary employment or secondment. In consultation with you, we decide the necessary degree of flexibility and gear the form of contract to this. You recruit and select the personnel yourself.
Total crewing
With total crewing or crew management, all staff-related responsibilities and risks are borne by TOS. For a fixed annual fee, your ship is provided with a crew.
Total crewing includes:
- Calculating the crew
- Recruiting and selecting the crew
- Contracting the crew
- Making relieve schedules
- Organizing signing on and off
- Co-ordinating the activities
- Registering the time account
- Waging of all the crew members
- Insuring all the crew members
- Evaluation and career interviews
- Poortwachter reports (forcing back duration of sick leave and reintegration)
